As seen in
Zoë Tryon is an internationally renowned guide, activist, and speaker, dedicated to environmental conservation and indigenous rights.
A lifelong love of nature and indigenous cultures led Zoë to the Ecuadorian Amazon in 2006—a journey that irrevocably changed her life. Living with the Achuar people, once feared warriors and now fierce guardians of their rainforest home, she found not just a cause, but a calling.
For the past 18 years, Zoë has worked with indigenous communities across the globe, from outback Australia to East Africa, but her heart remains in the Amazon. She has forged deep, trusted relationships with the Achuar, Shuar, Kichwa, Sapara, and Waorani peoples, serving as both an ally and cultural bridge, raising awareness of the urgent ecological and cultural threats facing the rainforest.
The world cannot survive without a thriving Amazon, and Zoë is devoted to championing sustainable solutions rooted in indigenous wisdom, inspiring global solidarity to protect one of Earth’s most vital ecosystems. Passionate about amplifying indigenous voices, she shares their knowledge through storytelling, advocacy, and immersive experiences.
Zoë went to the jungle to help protect it, but in return, the forest and its people gave her something far greater than she could ever repay. Now, it is her great joy to guide others into the Amazon, where they too can learn, remember, and awaken.
